Mind, Body & Advocacy with Kimberley Johnson
Today I speak with Kimberly Johnson, a PhD student in clinical psychology who specializes in perinatal, pelvic, & maternal health. As a former professional cyclist, Kimberly has dealt with her fair share of injuries. We talk about how those experiences relate to her postpartum recovery and what other moms can learn from their past experiences. Kimberly is able to take her own postpartum experiences into her PhD studies in psychology, helping her to recognize this unseat need in the industry. Kimberly shares why her research is important and what is lacking in the industry.
We discuss current trends in the industry and what it could mean for the future. You don’t want to miss the interview!
We talk about:
-dealing with injury as a former Pro cyclist
