Today I am speaking with Virginia Kinkel, trainer and bikini competitor, about lessons we learn as new moms. After earning a degree in kinesiology from the University of Maryland, she and her husband opened the first location of their gym Bodymass. She talks to us about her experience competing in different divisions within the sport of bodybuilding, and how her goals have changed now that she is postpartum. We hear how Virginia’s experience working with the human body shaped her pregnancy and what advice she can offer other moms as they go through their pregnancy and postpartum.
