JESSICA DORRINGTON- Elite Pregnancy & Postpartum Running Rehab

Today, I speak with Jessica Dorrington, a practicing physical therapist in Portland, OR since 2002. She has assisted dozens of professional and Olympic athletes return to elite performance. She takes a comprehensive approach to her practice, considering the multidimensional interplay of core, pelvic floor, sports therapy, gait mechanics, and orthopedic considerations to ensure every patient is set up for success. Her mission is simple: she wants to get every patient back to doing what they love to do. When she’s not with family or helping patients, she is out running the trails, road and track practicing what she preaches.

We Talk About:

-becoming a better at running as you age

-key differences between Pro and recreational runners

-shifts in the industry since the early 2000’s
